The Rustic Brush is a locally owned DIY Studio established to inspire creativity and community through our premier social crafting experience. Be our guest and be prepared to awaken your creative spirit with your family, friends and colleagues! We offer instructor-led workshops designed to help you create beautiful one-of-a-kind signs and décor for your home, business or to gift your special someone.

There are endless designs and a variety of projects available. We will guide you in the right direction, so don’t worry about your skill level. We provide all the materials you need to create a personalized work-of-art. Our Instructors will assist you in creating an original, customized masterpiece from start to finish. We have a relaxed and social environment that is perfect for entertaining and celebrating special events. We are a BYOB establishment and welcome you to make yourself at home. Bring your family, friends, co-workers or come on your own to share this social crafting experience with others!

WHAT IS AN OPEN WORKSHOP?
Our Open Workshops are available for anyone to come and get crafty! You can bring a group of friends, a date, have a small birthday get together, or even come alone. We seat small groups together, so you get the feeling of a “private party” without having to meet a minimum or pay a deposit.

Please note, we do not take walk-ins during Open Workshops. Although they are “open workshops” we still require you to book online at least 24 hours prior to the workshop.

WHAT IS THE CUTOFF TIME TO BOOK A WORKSHOP?
All workshops must be booked 24 hours in advance. This is to give us time to prepare your materials before the workshop.
HOW LONG DO THE WORKSHOPS LAST?
Our workshops last approximately three hours. Please make sure you are on time and ready to get crafty!
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO ATTEND AN OPEN WORKSHOP?

Yes, absolutely! Children are welcome to craft with you at an Open Workshop.  While there is no minimum age set, the child needs to be able to sit still on a backless barstool for 2-3 hours while completing their project.  Please note that our locations are BYOB, so there might be guests drinking adult beverages while you are there.  Check with your local TRB for more information.

HOW MUCH IS IT?

Each project we offer is priced differently and listed on the project pages.

Adult projects range from $45-$110
Teen/Youth projects range from $35-$45

WHAT ARE YOUR STORE HOURS, AND WHEN DO YOU HAVE WORKSHOPS?
Our store hours are based on when we hold workshops. Each location has different workshop times, so check out your location’s calendar here!
DO I HAVE TO BOOK AND PAY IN ADVANCE?
Yes, we require everyone to book online (and pay) at least 24 hours in advance. This gives us time to get your materials and stencil ready before you arrive.
DOES EVERYONE HAVE TO PAINT THE SAME DESIGN DURING THE WORKSHOP?
No. Each person can choose their own project and design from our project galleries!
WHAT CAN I BRING? BYOB? FOOD? DRINKS? DECORATIONS?
Most of our locations are BYOB, please check with your local TRB location for more information. We have buffet tables for your use as well as any unused workstations. Please be sure to bring any tableware you might need! You are also more than welcome to bring decorations!

*We do not provide ice, cups, or plates.

WHEN DO I NEED TO CHOOSE MY PROJECT AND DESIGN?
You will need to choose the project and design at the time of registration (at least 24 hours prior to a workshop). We make sure that everything is ready to craft as soon as you as arrive.
IS THERE A CHARGE FOR CUSTOM DESIGNS?

Yes, there is a $15 fee for custom designs. Design requests must be submitted 48 hours in advance.

**Custom Designs include any modification to one of our standard designs or if you have seen something that you would like to try to replicate.  A design that we offer that includes a family name or established year is NOT considered a custom design and doesn’t cost an extra fee.

IS THE WORKSHOP FREEHAND PAINTING?

Our projects are created with the use of design stencils, so there is no need to worry about your artistic experience or creativity level.  

DO THE EMBELLISHMENTS IN THE PICTURE COME WITH THE PROJECT?

No, we use embellishments to show how a finished project might look in your home.  For example, we fill centerpieces with jars and flowers just as we hope you will do once you get it home.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Because of the nature of our workshops, we need adequate time to process and customize your selections.  Cancellations made 72 hours in advance of a workshop will receive an in-studio credit for the amount of their project, valid for one full year. Inadequate cancellation notice or no-shows will not be refunded or credited.
Private event deposits are non-refundable due to cancellation or not meeting the minimum guest requirement.
