Our workshops give you the guidance and fundamental skills you need to construct, stain, and design a custom piece all on your own! 

We offer many options and designs to guide you in the right direction, so don’t worry about your creativity level! 

Our instructors guide you with step by step instructions, offer advice, and work with you throughout the workshop to ensure you leave with a truly customized piece of art.

Types of workshops we offer

Open Workshops

Open workshops are for anyone and everyone, kids and teens included! Come alone, with friends, family, or even a date. Our workshops are the perfect social crafting experience, so be prepared to get crafty and meet new friends! (You can sit by your friends, just let us know when you book!)

Private Parties

Have a special event you want to celebrate? Our private parties are great for Birthdays, Bachelorette Parties, Team Building, Holidays, Retirements, and so much more. Book the entire place and craft to your heart’s desire! Check with your location for more information and availability.

How Open Workshops work:

Pick your project and design from our project gallery. You can make any project at any of our workshops! Write down the name of your design choice to enter when you are booking. If you don’t see anything you like in our gallery, we can create a custom stencil for an extra fee of $15.00! 

On your location’s calendar, click on the time and date that works for you to begin the booking process. Enter your project choice, seating preferences, and payment information to complete your booking. You will receive a confirmation email once the booking is complete.  

Find the location closest to you. Each location has its own workshop schedule, so be sure to check your location’s calendar for workshops and special events! 

YAY! During the workshop, you have the freedom to customize your project with our soy-based stains and a large variety of paint colors. We are a BYOB establishment and welcome you to bring food and beverages, including alcohol! Don’t forget the utensils, plates, cups, and ice!

Open Workshop FAQs

What is an Open Workshop?

Our Open Workshops are available for anyone to come and get crafty! You can bring a group of friends, a date, have a small birthday get together, or even come alone. We seat small groups together, so you get the feeling of a “private party” without having to meet a minimum or pay a deposit.

Please note, we do not take walk-ins during Open Workshops. Although they are “open workshops” we still require you to book online at least 24 hours prior to the workshop. 

What is the cutoff time to book a workshop?

All workshops must be booked 24 hours in advance. This is to give us time to prepare your materials before the workshop.

How long do the workshops last?

Our workshops last approximately three hours. Please make sure you are on time and ready to get crafty!

Are children allowed to attend an open workshop?

Yes, absolutely! However, please note that we are a BYOB establishment.

How much is it?

Each project we offer is priced differently and listed on the project pages.

Adult projects range from $38-$75
Teen projects range from  $28-$38
Kid projects $28

What are your store hours, and when do you have workshops?

Our store hours are based on when we hold workshops. Each location has different workshop times, so check out your location’s calendar here!

Do I have to book and pay in advance?

Yes, we require everyone to book online (and pay) at least 24 hours in advance. This gives us time to get your materials and stencil ready before you arrive. 

Does everyone have to paint the same design during the workshop?

Nope! You can choose any project you want at any workshop!

What can I bring? BYOB? Food? Drinks? Decorations?

We are BYOB, so you can bring any type of drinks and food your heart desires (yes, that includes beer, wine, and liquor)!  We have buffet tables for your use as well as any unused workstations. Please be sure to bring any tableware you might need! You are also more than welcome to bring decorations! *We do not provide ice, cups, or plates.

When do I need to choose my project and design?

You will need to choose the project and design at the time of registration (at least 24 hours prior to a workshop). We make sure that everything is ready to go as soon as you walk in the door!

Is there a charge for custom designs?

Yes, there is a $15 fee for custom designs. Design requests must be submitted 48 hours in advance.

Is the workshop freehand painting?

No, we work with stencils so there is no need to worry about your artistic experience or creativity level.

Cancellation Policy

Because of the nature of our workshops, we need adequate time to process and customize your selections. Cancellations made 72 hours in advance of a workshop will receive a full refund. Inadequate cancellation notice or no-shows will not be refunded.

How Private Parties Work

Start by looking at our project gallery to determine what price range or project type you would like to offer at your event. As the host of the event, you can choose to limit guests to certain projects or allow them to pick freely.


Find the location closest to you and check their minimum, availability, and fill out the Private Party Request Form. Your location will get in touch with you to get the party started!

Your event will be added to the calendar once the deposit has been paid. You’ll get a special private party link for your guests to book through. They will be able to choose their project and design based on what you selected for them.

Private Party FAQS

How many people do I need?

Weekdays before 7 pm:
Minimum: 7, Maximum: 30

Monday and Tuesday nights:
Minimum: 7, Maximum: 30

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday nights:
Minimum: 20, Maximum: 30

Weekends:
Minimum: 20, Maximum: 30

If you cannot meet the minimum number of guests for a private party you can always have everyone attend the same Open Workshop. When each person books they can list who they would like to sit with and your group will be seated together!

How much is it per person?

Adult projects range from $38-$75
Teen projects range from  $28-$38
Kid projects $28

Is there a deposit?

A $125 deposit is required to hold the reservation of your private party. The deposit will go towards the remaining balance or be refunded once the minimum number of guests has been met. If you are unable to meet the minimum or cancel the private party the deposit is considered non-refundable. The deposit fee is $125 and must be paid by credit card over the phone. You have 10 full days prior to the workshop to cancel and get a full refund. Anytime within that 10 days prior to the workshop, the deposit will be considered non-refundable.

What will we make?

There are two options for choosing projects:
1 – Each guest can select their own project and design from our gallery.
2 – The host can pre-select a project and design for everyone to make.

How long is a private party?

Each private party is 3 hours. You are welcome to come in 15-20 minutes prior to set up.

What can I bring?

We are BYOB, so you can bring any type of drinks and food your heart desires (yes, that includes beer, wine, and liquor)!  We have buffet tables for your use as well as any unused workstations. Please be sure to bring any tableware you might need! You are also more than welcome to bring decorations!

What’s included in a private party?

We provide everything you need! We take care of set up, materials, tools, and clean up.
The only thing you and your guests need to do is come ready to get crafty!

*We do not provide ice, cups, or plates.

How does payment work?

The host can choose to pay for the group as a whole, or each guest can pay individually.

Cancellation Policy

If the private party is canceled at least 10 days before the scheduled date the deposit will be refunded. If the party is canceled less than 10 days away from the scheduled date the deposit is non-refundable.
